[AI Security Company Corma Completes $60 Million Seed Round Financing, Led by Sequoia Capital] DeepFlow Tech News, August 13 — According to FintechGlobal, AI security startup Corma announced the completion of a $60 million seed round financing, led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Khosla Ventures and Coatue. Currently, general-purpose large model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google have code generation and software reasoning capabilities that can be directly transformed into offensive cybersecurity capabilities. Corma is developing an AI security 'digital employee' system tailored for enterprise security teams. Its AI agents can continuously learn within enterprise environments and cover multiple defense scenarios, including threat detection, response, and security operations. The new funding will be used to build an AI defense system specifically designed for cybersecurity, creating foundational models focused on defensive cybersecurity tasks, enabling defenders to possess the same speed, complexity, and generalization capabilities as AI attackers.
