[Iran Says It Will Exhaust the U.S. Through a Prolonged War] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on August 13, during an interview broadcast on the U.S. Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) on August 11 local time, Mohammad Reza Naghdi, an advisor to the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that the two main objectives of the U.S. war against Iran—overthrowing Iran's leadership and dividing the country—have both 'already failed,' and that 'victory is on Iran's side.' Naghdi remarked that this war has revealed the U.S.'s confusion and disorientation, saying, 'The U.S. announces a new objective every few days, turning it into a war "without strategy."' Naghdi further emphasized that Iran will continue to achieve victories. Over the course of more than five months of combat with the U.S., Iran has not only gained experience but also realized that the U.S. military is weaker than previously imagined. He stressed that Iran must establish deterrence to ensure that its enemies never dare to attack again. One way to achieve this, he said, is to 'prolong the war' and exhaust the U.S. In doing so, any future aggressors considering an attack on Iran will 'think twice about the price they would have to pay.'
