Goldman Sachs is acquiring NEOS Investments for up to $๐ฎ.๐ฎ๐ฑ๐, picking up the $๐ญ.๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ Bitcoin income ETF and going head-to-head with BlackRock's BITA.
๐๐๐ฝ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ: Wall Street is moving beyond custody and spot ETFs into structured BTC yield products. Two of the largest asset managers globally are now positioned to distribute BTC-yield products through retail and advisory channels โ a structural demand signal that deepens institutional BTC infrastructure.
For BTC, the BTCI fund uses an options overlay to generate income on Bitcoin holdings, meaning the fund holds spot BTC and sells options against it. That adds a derivatives demand layer alongside the spot exposure โ Goldman distributing this at scale creates sustained underlying BTC buying pressure.
