US defense technology startup Neros raises $250 million in funding, valued at $2.5 billion

According to Bloomberg, US defense technology startup Neros has completed a $250 million equity financing, with a post investment valuation of $2.5 billion. It is led by Sequoia Capital and American Strategic Technology Fund, with original investors such as Thiel Capital participating. Neros plans to accelerate the development and mass production of the Archer attack drone and Bandit interception drone, and promote localized manufacturing in allied countries. The company's current annual production capacity is about 14000 aircraft, and the goal is to increase Archer's annual production capacity to 1 million aircraft by 2028.
