DeepSeek V4 Flash's game development skills are questionable
Last night, I first had Grok 4.5 draft a development document for a single-player web-based Texas Hold'em, then handed it over to DeepSeek V4 Flash to execute.
It wrote a total of 2,600 lines of code, and with testing, it only reached 3,300 lines.
But looking at the final product... to put it nicely: underwhelming.
To put it bluntly: it's terrible—so bad it almost made me lose my temper.
The UI is ugly, fine, but the bugs? There's a ton of them.
First game, and it froze right at the community card stage. Then, when I won the hand, it told me I didn’t have enough chips and asked me to rebuy.
DeepSeek said it "forgot" to calculate the chips I won. Like, what kind of ridiculous oversight is that?
Too bad I didn’t get to experience the legendary Mythos from back in the day—where one all-in could deliver that nuke-level shockwave of excitement.
Liangzi, hurry up and release Pro so we can all get a little taste of that thrill.
Flash’s performance today has seriously made me question its capabilities.
