Speaking of the storage trio, I feel like the price can't drop anymore—when it drops, people expect it to keep dropping; when it rises, people expect it to keep rising. I've been saying there won't be a one-sided trend, but rather a zigzag pattern.
This afternoon, I went long and got trapped. After the 9:30 market open, the price kept dropping, which made me a bit worried. Luckily, everything has rebounded now.
I think Micron, SanDisk, and SK Hynix can't be expected to hit previous lows or new lows anymore.
Here’s why:
The previous lows were formed during a brutal deleveraging period, systemic suppression in the U.S., chain reaction liquidations, and systemic shorting—layer upon layer of historic-level crises. Those conditions no longer exist. Especially after South Korea surrendered, there’s no need to keep pushing the price down. The big trend is over, and what follows will just be corrective fluctuations. The hype, capital, and attention will gradually cool down over time, returning to the normal levels of an average stock.
