[Bitcoin Red Team Discovers 85 Critical Vulnerabilities in 390 Open Source Code Repositories] According to Bitcoin Magazine, following the Coldcard vulnerability incident, the Bitcoin Red Team, led by software engineer Calle and Anchorwatch CEO Rob Hamilton, has received funding and allocated over $40,000 worth of AI tokens to conduct security audits on more than 390 open source code repositories. As of the latest update, the team has submitted 4,962 findings within 27.5 hours, including 85 critical issues and 635 high-risk issues, averaging 2.31 critical or high-risk issues discovered per hour. The audit utilized cutting-edge models such as Kimi K3, GPT Sol, Fable, Opus, and GLM5.2, with costs covered by OpenSats. The team has also established partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic.
