Crypto custody provider BitGo is replacing LayerZero with Chainlink CCIP as the exclusive cross-chain infrastructure provider for WBTC, involving approximately $7.4 billion in WBTC market cap. BitGo will adopt Chainlink's cross-chain token standard to unify WBTC's multi-chain deployment and will default to using CCIP for future asset issuances.
