According to Wu Blockchain, Galaxy Research revealed that it identified three suspected waves of attacks targeting addresses generated by Coldcard based on Bitcoin on-chain data. A total of 4,585 addresses were involved, with 1,367.05 BTC transferred, valued at approximately $88.6 million. The first two waves share similarities in fund aggregation structure, receiving address types, and address generation paths, leading to a reasonable assumption that they were carried out by the same attacker, though this cannot be confirmed yet. The third wave, however, differs significantly in fund aggregation, receiving addresses, and batch transfer methods.
