Elon Musk's #1 fanboy Ron Baron: TSLA heading to 10,000!
1. Stock price to multiply 4–7x in 10 years, reaching $1200–2200
2. Long-term, another 4–5x growth
3. All thanks to humanoid robot Optimus!
The company is building production lines, aiming for 1 million units of capacity next year, with plans to scale up to 10 million units in the future.
If each robot sells for $30,000, with $10,000 gross profit per unit after costs, 10 million units would mean $100 billion in gross profit.
The global market for humanoid robots could reach 1 billion units. Assuming Tesla captures 20% market share (even with competition from China's Unitree), that’s 200–300 million units.
Since robots have a long replacement cycle, with an 8–10 year lifespan, steady annual gross profit could be around $200–300 billion. At maturity, applying a 25–30x P/E ratio → this could contribute roughly $5–9 trillion in market cap.
If we use Musk’s most optimistic model, where Tesla takes a big slice of the $40 trillion TAM for replacing global labor, the potential is massive!
