According to Golden Ten, Gulf countries have issued $112 billion in bonds this year, setting a record high for the same period in history. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar are seeking financing to construct infrastructure that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz, including building new ports, repairing oil and gas pipelines, and improving road networks. Kuwait raised $6 billion last week, attracting $14.8 billion in investor subscription orders.
