[Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Six vessels intercepted in the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours]
Odaily Planet Daily News - On the 26th local time, Iran cited information from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stating that the IRGC Navy is continuously patrolling and monitoring approximately 240,000 square kilometers of maritime area in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. According to the report, the IRGC emphasized that any vessel that does not accept and comply with the rules and regulations established by Iran will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC also claimed that U.S. forces attempted to alter the course of certain vessels but were met with warning shots from the Iranian side, forcing the vessels to turn back. The IRGC stated that in the past 24 hours, a total of six vessels were forced to anchor and comply with Iranian directives after receiving warnings from the IRGC. (CCTV)
