I feel like tonight might be the moment Trump truly feels the market's pessimism and pressure.
Just now, the U.S. stock indices and major heavyweights took a nosedive. My $SPCX is honestly too painful to look at, and my short position on oil is currently in the red. $WTI
There are even voices saying, 'Oil prices are surging, the Fed might hike rates as early as next week, and U.S. bond yields have hit their highest point this year.' (Yep, there's a Fed meeting early Thursday morning next week.)
Can high oil prices really be sustained for a long time? Trump, the market is waiting for your real TACO move.
Personally, I think there are two key moments to watch: next week's Fed meeting and the release of July inflation data on 8/12.
Regarding this new round of U.S.-Iran geopolitical risks that started in early July, shouldn't Trump come to a conclusion by now?
