The lack of understanding in basic economics with these people blows my mind. Saving a landlord £6k a year is not going to save a pub / club. Inflationary pressures and regularity costs are what is killing business: 1. People have less money to go out 2. Input prices are up 3. Customers can’t absorb them 4. Energy costs are up 5. Minimum wage is up 6. Regulatory costs are up If you want to help pubs / clubs you can help everyone at the same time, but you require economic policies that aren’t retarded. You have to just get the fuck out of the way of entrepreneurs and end the managerial state.
