I think this is a good thing, and it serves as a wake-up call for all the VCs out there—stop investing in garbage projects.
If a project can't bring fundamental infrastructure changes, don't invest in it. You're just playing a zero-sum game.
You VCs are betting that project teams will use your money and dump on retail investors when tokens unlock.
Project teams are betting they can get listed on exchanges and dump on retail investors.
Exchanges are betting that project teams will bring in new users. Everyone's gambling, but no one is solving any real problems.
At least in this space, RWA is actively trying to expand crypto adoption, and I fully support RWA projects. But RWA projects shouldn't issue tokens. The core focus should be on building infrastructure for crypto. If a project feels the need to issue tokens, don't invest in it—it just shows they're still chasing quick profits instead of genuinely trying to serve users.
Crypto has already benefited too much from short-term, quick-money schemes. It's time to switch to a long-term mindset and endure some hardship.
