[Zcash's New Full Node Client Zakura Released, Supports Ironwood Network Upgrade] According to official sources, the new Zcash full node client Zakura, jointly developed by Project Tachyon and Valar Group, has been officially released. Zakura is a free and open-source client built on Zebra, developed by the Zcash Foundation, and it supports the Ironwood (NU6.3) network upgrade, which is expected to activate around July 28. The team plans to gradually integrate future Zcash protocol upgrades, such as quantum recoverability, recursive proofs, and private information retrieval, into the actual network through Zakura. Benchmark tests in the same environment show that Zakura completes Zcash mainnet synchronization in approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes, compared to Zebra's 20 hours and 46 minutes, achieving nearly a fivefold improvement in synchronization speed.
