[Iranian President: No Concessions Made on Any Item in the Memorandum of Understanding] According to a report by Jinse Finance, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated during a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council that today we are in a state of war, and it is no longer possible to govern the country using the conventional rules and procedures of the past. At present, we need unity, consensus, decision-making based on collective wisdom, and coordinated cooperation among all national institutions more than ever. The Iranian government will also utilize all resources to seriously advance the reform of unjust structures and serve the people. From a faith-based perspective, living in a society where people suffer from livelihood issues, unemployment, poverty, and distress is unacceptable. In the 14-point memorandum of understanding, we have made no concessions regarding rights, principles, national interests, revolutionary values, or beliefs. Not only have we not made any compromises that go against national interests, but after carefully reviewing the terms of the agreement, most of the outcomes are beneficial to the Islamic Republic of Iran. In fact, there is no clause that provides unilateral benefits to the U.S. side. (Jin10)
