According to Bloomberg, the 60 day correlation coefficient between the South Korean Composite Index (KOSPI) and the Nasdaq 100 Index has risen to 0.46, close to the highest level in the past two years and about three times the five-year average of 0.16. Global fund managers view the Korean market as an indicator for observing AI investment sentiment, and pay attention to the trends of Korean technology stocks such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix before opening. On the 7th of this month, Nasdaq's sensitivity index to the trend of the South Korean stock market rose to its highest level since 1990.
