The Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea intends to extend the 'AI Computing Resource Utilization Infrastructure Enhancement Project' and will configure all GPUs introduced next year as Vera Rubin. This project will be managed by private enterprises, such as cloud service providers operating data centers, which will handle the entire process of GPU procurement, construction, and service delivery. The funding will come from the government budget. Over the past two years, the South Korean government has secured more than 30,000 GPUs through this project and other initiatives, providing them to both public and private sectors.
