983 shorted MU. I'm planning to hold onto this Micron position for the long term. Unless something unexpected happens, this short is basically at the historical peak of this cycle. The storage narrative does sound grand, but it's clear that follow-up capital isn't keeping up. Initially, I was thinking of shorting Western Digital, but figured Micron's larger market cap would make it less prone to wild price swings. Later on, I'll go long on Micron through Hyper, which will effectively reduce the size of this short position. Around the $800 level, it's definitely a good spot to go long and bet on a rebound.
