Robinhood founder @vladtenev has been heavily promoting RWA after the NOXA incident and is no longer mentioning memes. I think there are two possibilities:
1. Intentional market manipulation. CASHCAT needs to shake out weak hands, redistribute tokens, and reduce the profit-taking pressure. The NOXA incident happened to be the perfect timing. $200m is too expensive? Then shake it down to $100m. $100m still too expensive? Then shake it down to $50m.
2. Using memes to attract the first wave of traffic, then going all-in on utility tokens. If the founder just used the first wave of traffic to draw people in and then abandoned memes to focus entirely on RWA, that’s basically a slap in the face. Honestly, people will look down on that, and this chain won’t retain users.
Memes are an essential part of crypto. Not everyone likes tech-focused tokens, but most people love memes because they’re easier to understand.
