[X Platform Upgrades Creator Revenue Sharing Program, Strictly Prohibits 'Reply for Follow' and Other Violations, Nearly 4,000 Accounts Removed Today]
Nikita Bier, X's product lead, announced the latest updates to the creator revenue sharing program. Accounts that post 'Reply for follow' or similar content three or more times will be removed from the program, and their accounts will be submitted to the policy team for suspension. Grok is now fully capable of detecting such behavior, and nearly 4,000 accounts were removed today.
Additionally, the new model's accuracy in detecting duplicate content is three times higher than the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros, and other edits will ensure that the display count of monetized content is credited to the original uploader. This also applies to copied trending text posts. Over 1.5 million stolen posts have been detected this cycle. Repeated or intentional attempts to bypass this mechanism will result in account removal from the program.
With these changes, the X team will return over $1 million in revenue to original content creators.
