Today, GOOG dipped slightly, but ORCL hit new highs again, leaving the foreigners stunned. The U.S. stock community is back to the old question: will Oracle go bankrupt? The probability is extremely low, but if it happens, it’ll be an AI black swan event. The entire AI ecosystem would collapse together—if one goes down, they all go down. Oracle is finding it hard to secure more debt, so expanding equity financing is inevitable. GOOG is the least likely among the hyperscalers to cut capital expenditures—this is a do-or-die situation, no room to retreat. Holding some GOOG shares and currently adding to ORCL June 2024 LEAP calls.
