[SK Hynix ADR Options Trading Initially Favors Short-Term Contracts] BlockBeats News, July 14: Options for SK Hynix's American Depositary Receipts (ADR) began trading on the U.S. options exchange on Tuesday. As of 10:25 AM New York time, the options trading volume had reached approximately 33,000 contracts, with over two-thirds concentrated in short-term options expiring this Friday. The most actively traded option was the $185 strike call option, with a trading volume of about 2,900 contracts, followed by the $145 strike put option. Additionally, the $200 strike call option expiring in August also gained significant interest, with a trading volume exceeding 1,500 contracts. Piper Sandler's head of options trading, Daniel Kirsch, stated that traders are expected to actively position for short-term trades anticipating further gains in SK Hynix ADR this week. "We expect strong demand for short-dated, bullish options, particularly call options expiring this Friday, as retail investors are likely to quickly flock to this product," he said.
