Specter investigates BONK DAO governance attack, Realms founder and Crypto Notte linked to attacker funds

On chain security officer Specter's investigation found that there was a financial exchange between the addresses of the founder of Realms and Crypto Notte and the attackers involved in the governance of BONK DAO. The attacker created a malicious governance proposal on June 30, 2026, requesting 1% of the voting rights of BONK's circulating supply, and obtained voting rights through exchange purchases and borrowing on Marginfi on July 4-5, with a loan size of approximately $4 million.
