[BlackRock Launches Low-Cost Nasdaq 100 ETF, Challenging Invesco's Dominance] According to Reuters, BlackRock has announced the launch of the iShares Nasdaq 100 ETF, which tracks the Nasdaq 100 Index. The stock ticker is IQQ, with an initial net asset value of $24 per share, and trading began on Thursday. This ETF aims to challenge the long-standing dominance of Invesco's QQQ and QQQM ETFs. Last month, State Street Bank also launched a similar product, QNDX. Recently, Nasdaq revised its listing standards to accelerate the inclusion of new companies (such as SpaceX) into the index. Strong demand for AI-driven tech stocks has propelled the Nasdaq 100 Index to achieve its best quarterly performance since April 2020 as of the end of June. BlackRock currently manages over $41 billion in assets through its other Nasdaq 100 strategies.
