Grayscale, a crypto asset management company, announced that its CFO, Edward McGee, has resigned for personal reasons, effective July 2. The company stated that his departure is not due to any disagreements regarding the company’s operations, policies, or practices. Kathryn Masci and Daniel Plourde have been appointed as interim co-CFOs, with Masci also serving as Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and joining the board of directors. This personnel change comes just months after John Hoffman, Head of Distribution and Partnerships, left the company to join Ondo Finance. Currently, Grayscale has paused its IPO preparations, following its confidential filing for a U.S. listing last November.
