In the end, GLM 5.2 had to clean up the mess left by Grok 4.5.
This afternoon, I asked Grok 4.5 to modify a script's functionality, and it ended up stirring up a hornet's nest.
After the code changes, the UI interface (the most critical feature) couldn’t display.
Tried fixing it multiple times, but no luck.
Had no choice but to switch to GLM 5.2.
At first, it didn’t solve the issue either, so I asked GLM to compare the modified version with the original version and make changes based on that.
Problem solved.
In other words, the mess Grok 4.5 made was ultimately cleaned up by GLM 5.2.
By the way, when using GLM 5.2, I discovered an unexpected “benefit”:
Since GLM 5.2 can’t see images, it forces you to carefully describe what the problem is and what your specific needs are.
Instead of treating it like GPT or other models with visual capabilities, where you just throw in an image and say:
“Look at the pic, help me solve this.”
When you clearly articulate your needs in words, the AI can help you solve the problem more effectively.
Guess you could call this the upside of not being lazy.
