The L2 chain Robinhood of the Ethereum ecosystem has only been launched for about a week and appears to be in a phase of rapid traffic and liquidity aggregation.
An interesting case has emerged on the chain:
A trader (address 0x4A5B304ded44a521FFeCE44A6386Fa2014d96f7D) bought the ERC-20 MEME token for approximately $316 when the market value of CASHCAT was only about $7400.
At present, its market value has exceeded 100 million US dollars, achieving a return of over 15000 times and a floating profit of over 2 million US dollars.
The token has been in a low-level sideways trend for a long time, with the main outbreaks concentrated in the past 24-48 hours, belonging to the typical memecoin gameplay: vertical upward trend.
This player looks like a top MEME player,
I am skilled in narrative, timing, and position management, not just luck.
The narrative of CASHCAT has historical origins, stemming from the early internal history of Robinhood Corporation. In the early stages of its establishment, it was considered or internally used "Cash Cat" as a nickname/alternative name, and co-founder Vladimir Tenev mentioned this detail in public.
Coincidentally, the Robinhood Chain mainnet has recently been launched, and this lore has formed a strong binding with official events, quickly becoming the most recognizable native narrative on the chain.
Interestingly, Robinhood executives previously held a relatively cautious attitude towards memecoin as a whole (Tenev publicly expressed a preference for RWA before and after the mainnet). But after CASHCAT quickly gathered a large amount of trading volume and user attention, executives turned to publicly recognizing the chain as "also suitable for the meme ecosystem".
After all, new chains require liquidity, user and developer attention, and highly popular memes can effectively generate this traffic in the short term.
The window period of the new chain mainnet is indeed a scarce opportunity. In the early stages of going online, attention is most focused. Once a certain token forms positive feedback (trading volume, number of holders, social discussions), it may quickly strengthen on chain traffic.
If not captured, the difficulty of attracting equal attention in the future will significantly increase.
This is also why early low market value entry can achieve extreme multipliers. A market value of $7400 is essentially close to "air", with extremely thin liquidity. Any decent buying opportunity (especially smart money with a keen sense of smell) can easily trigger a chain reaction and FOMO.
The native deployment of Uniswap V3 on Robinhood Chain further lowers the transaction threshold.
Once initiated, KOL follow-up, community meme dissemination, and on chain transaction volume form a flywheel effect.
From the perspective of on chain behavior, this player is likely to have conducted research (monitoring new contracts, mining lore, etc.) before or very early on the chain deployment, and verified opportunities through minimal funding testing.
This is exactly the standard strategy of top tier degen: using acceptable zeroing positions to gain asymmetric returns, while establishing information advantages through early research. Because at that time, no one could be 100% certain whether it would ultimately take off.
In summary, this is a powerful combination of narrative, timing, and execution.
Finding strong narrative, early entry, small position verification, and being able to withstand the main rising wave are all highly required abilities in the MEME track.
The vast majority of similar attempts will eventually return to zero or experience a significant drawdown, and cases with returns exceeding ten thousand times are hard to come by.
