Quick question for everyone: What do you think about today’s $1.7M theft incident on Gate? Been in the industry for so long, but this one is truly mind-blowing. With the advancement of AI, should we start rethinking security issues? What scares me the most right now is: If attackers really have access to users’ KYC materials, email/SMS/device permissions, transaction history, and can even complete AI-based liveness verification… Then wouldn’t the traditional CEX processes for ‘account recovery/resetting security settings’ become completely useless? Or worse, would they turn into entry points for attacks? Can we still defend against this? Does defense even work anymore?
