["'Trump Account' Officially Launched, Usability Questioned"]
According to Golden Finance, on July 7, citing CCTV, the U.S. White House announced on July 6 that the "Trump Account," designed to serve U.S. minors investing in the stock market, was officially launched that day. Some critics pointed out that low-income groups in the U.S. face many challenges in benefiting from this account. Additionally, the usability of this account has sparked widespread skepticism.
Under the "Big and Beautiful" Tax and Spending Act passed by the U.S. Congress in 2025, American parents and guardians can apply to the federal government to open a "Trump Account" free of charge for minors under the age of 18 for long-term stock market investments. Funds in the account invested in the stock market are eligible for tax benefits.
