According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 3, the European Commission proposed five major cross-border defense projects on Friday, paving the way for these projects to receive EU funding. These proposed "European Defense Projects of Common Interest" (EDPCI) include a drone and counter-drone project involving 26 EU member states, Norway, and Ukraine, as well as an "Eastern Wing Vigilance" project comprising 13 EU member states, Norway, and Ukraine. Additionally, the proposals include an integrated maritime and underwater defense project, an air defense and missile defense and early warning project, and a space-based defense project.
