HTX DeepThink: Meta's Sale of AI Computing Power Sparks Concerns, Generational Divergence of Computing Power Assets Enters a New Phase

HTX DeepThink columnist and HTX Research analyst Chloe (@ChloeTalk1) pointed out that Meta's recent sale of a portion of its AI computing power has sparked market concerns over an oversupply of computing power, putting pressure on GPU cloud service providers and the semiconductor sector. However, based on the actual situation in the industry chain, this change cannot simply be interpreted as a peak in AI computing power demand. It is more likely to signify the beginning of generational divergence in computing power assets: previous-generation GPUs and non-core computing resources are gradually being commercialized for rental, while next-generation high-performance clusters like Blackwell and Rubin remain in relatively short supply.
