Humanity Protocol founder Terence Kwok, in his first public interview since the project suffered an attack worth approximately $36 million, stated that the team will reposition its business focus, gradually de-emphasizing blockchain and decentralized identity (DID) in favor of enterprise-level AI products and services. Kwok explained that the attack was caused by a private key leak from a developer's device, not a smart contract vulnerability, and the chances of recovering the stolen funds are low. The team is currently prioritizing the migration to new tokens and the compensation process. He also revealed that the project has been planning a strategic shift over the past few months and has already attracted around 10 million registered users, with millions completing identity credential verification.
