What are your goals for this new cycle? Initially, my goal with investing was to cover all my living expenses so that I could travel, read, write, exercise, and have some money left over to invest without having a boss tell me what to do every day. Nothing fancy really. However, as time passed and I had "enough," per se, after 2024, the goal became more and more about doing this because I've made a network and have a foot within most stuff in here: spot holding, trading, angel investing, research, and marketing. I still find myself here every day because it becomes a lifestyle tbh. These days I am also thinking a lot about relocating to somewhere else. It's not an easy decision. With that said, I'm really enjoying Switzerland atm. When I was poor, I used to ponder why people like GCR just didn't quit after making eg. $100m (he prob made much more, I just don't know the number), but the real answer is that if you're the best in the game, why would you quit doing it? I was telling myself that I would cut the internet cable once I made $1m in 2021 to go live life. I didn't, and at this point, it's not about making the sickest gains (obviously I don't mind it), but this is a game that is mentally stimulating and very competitive too. I definitely have much better balance in my life now. I do things again, meet people, and enjoy much more than I used to. Was it worth sacrificing some years for it?
