Manny Rutinel, supported by Ripple, wins Colorado primary

According to Cointelegraph, Manny Rutinel, the Democratic candidate for Colorado's 8th district, won the party primary with 61.7% of the vote and will enter the general election in November. The You Can Push Back Super PAC, funded by Chris Larsen, co-founder of Ripple Labs, spent $1 million to support Manny Rutinel's campaign before the primary. Manny Rutinel received a "strong support for cryptocurrency" rating in the Coinbase affiliate organization Stand With Crypto's rating. The Public Citizen report states that the cryptocurrency industry has invested approximately $189 million in the 2026 US election.
