[Iran States It Will Initiate Final Iran-U.S. Agreement Talks at an Appropriate Time]
BlockBeats News, July 1, according to CCTV reports, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani led a delegation comprising representatives from Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Bank, and other departments to visit Qatar. On the morning of the same day, they met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Doha to discuss topics such as implementing the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding, including "removing existing obstacles" to achieving a ceasefire in Lebanon.
Following the meeting between Bagheri Kani and Mohammed, representatives from Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan held a trilateral meeting in Doha to review the implementation of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding. After the meeting, Bagheri Kani stated that Iran has established a working group responsible for following up on the implementation of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding and negotiating the final agreement. However, formal negotiations have not yet begun. Iran is continuing discussions through mediators to determine the time and location for its working group to commence negotiations. "If the necessary conditions are met, the working group will formally begin negotiations.
