🇵🇱 2,000 CRYPTO FIRMS FACE SHUTDOWN RISK AS POLAND REJECTS MICA LICENSES
Poland’s president has blocked the country’s MiCA implementation law, blocking its regulator from issuing crypto licenses.
This makes Poland the only EU country where crypto firms cannot get a license, leaving around 2,000 local companies in regulatory limbo.
Those firms may now need to get approved in another EU country or risk shutting down.
Under MiCA, one license from any EU country lets a crypto firm serve customers across the whole EU.(Coin Bureau)
