Iran: The current focus is on implementing the memorandum of understanding, and there will be no negotiations with the United States in the near future According to Golden Finance, on June 30th, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iran's top priority at present is to ensure the implementation of all provisions of the memorandum of understanding. Regarding the US commitment to allow Iran's oil exports mentioned in Article 10 of the memorandum, the US has issued the necessary permits and Iran is following up on the progress of implementation; As for Article 11 regarding the lifting of Iran's frozen assets, the relevant implementation procedures are also being pushed forward. This week, Iran will send a technical delegation to Qatar for consultations on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding, including Article 11. The spokesperson stated that Iran has not yet initiated final agreement negotiations. According to Article 13 of the Memorandum of Understanding, the prerequisite for initiating final agreement negotiations is the commencement and continued implementation of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11. In addition, the spokesperson emphasized that Iran will not hold any level of negotiations with the United States in the coming days. The visit of the US representative to Qatar has no connection with the Iranian technical delegation. The purpose of the Iranian delegation's visit to Qatar is to follow up on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding (including Article 11).
