Paul Meade joined Apple in 2010, initially working with the iPhone and iPad teams. In 2017, he transitioned to the visual products team, serving as the head of the Vision Pro hardware engineering team. Recently, he has been primarily responsible for advancing AI smart glasses projects and leading the AR glasses development team. Meade will leave Apple next week and join OpenAI's hardware division to participate in AI device development work.
