Under the premise of adhering to international law, the Hormuz Strait will be managed by Iran according to mechanisms established by Iran. Qalibaf mentioned that certain issues may arise in the Hormuz Strait, and therefore, Iran and the United States have agreed to establish a coordination center and open a hotline to resolve any issues more quickly within a 30-day timeframe. Qalibaf emphasized that this hotline is not intended for approving transit permits, as the relevant permits will still follow their established procedures. The hotline is solely for addressing problems or emergencies involving vessels.
