Jared FromSubway MEV robot suffered a reverse attack and lost over $7.5 million. The operator offered a 50% white hat bounty to refund 2150 ETH
According to a report by Golden Finance, Jared FromSubway. eth, the largest sandwich MEV robot on Ethereum, suffered a reverse MEV attack on June 20th, resulting in the loss of approximately 4424 WETHs (approximately $7.65 million). Attackers deploy dozens of fake token contracts and liquidity pools to simulate high-yield arbitrage opportunities, inducing robots to automatically grant token authorization, and then use suspended approval permissions to withdraw all funds.
On June 22nd, the operator of Jared FromSubway offered a 50% white hat bounty to the attacker through on chain messages: if 2150 ETH is returned to the designated address within 48 hours, the remaining amount will be treated as a legitimate bounty and will not be pursued; Otherwise, all legal and enforcement measures will be taken to pursue the matter.
According to on chain data, the attacker's primary address is 0x3e37f4A10d771Ba9dE44b6d301410b1BEdeA65d0, and the core attack transaction hash is 0 x43ee75697d731f39f0e3c68fe6937715f2327563f6cb02fb0e9d454fbd634e6d。 The stolen funds have been split into multiple addresses, with some transferred through Tornado Cash mixing. As of press time, the attacker has not responded and the 48 hour countdown is still ongoing.
