According to a recent ruling by the Northern Netherlands District Court, Bitcoin wallet addresses and on-chain transaction records were included as evidence in a fraud and data trafficking case. Police sent €200 worth of BTC to the wallet address provided by the suspect to purchase potential victim information, and subsequently received the related Excel file. The court ultimately sentenced the defendant to 24 months in prison.
