Buy safety 2. Buy growth 1 teaches you to control drawdowns, which is more important than 2 2 teaches you to achieve leaps in asset growth The two complement each other and are not in conflict Having 1 without 2 means slow progress Having 2 without 1 means losing it all A reasonable balance Advancing with both 1 and 2 is the way to enter the temple of value investing
