According to Forbes, the Central County Court in London heard the Hussain v Fix case on June 18th, and the plaintiff demanded that the defendant repay 7.806501396 BTC. The judge stated that although British law recognizes Bitcoin as property, it is uncertain whether the court has the authority to directly order Bitcoin to repay debts and tends to convert it into pounds sterling for compensation at the time of trial.
