WuShuo has learned that CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange operator, announced that current Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy will transition to the role of Executive Chairman on March 1, 2027. Current President and CFO Lynne Fitzpatrick will take over as CEO and join the board of directors. Duffy has served as CME Chairman since 2002, driving major acquisitions such as the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), and leading CME's transition from floor trading to electronic trading. Recently, Duffy stated that CME will sue the CFTC to oppose its approval of perpetual futures in the U.S. market. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/cme-group-ceo-terry-duffy-to-step-down-2027-lynne-fitzpatrick-succeeds-63113
