WuBlockchain has learned that Sonic Labs announced a board restructuring. Andre Cronje, Michael Kong, and David Richardson will step down from their board positions and no longer participate in organizational business decisions. Matt Visser will take over as CEO. Sonic stated that it will promote governance transparency, establish a risk and compliance committee, and mentioned that since 2026, approximately 400 GitHub PRs have been merged and 2 official releases have been published.
