According to data released by The Kobeissi Letter, the semiconductor sector accounts for approximately 18.8% of the total market value of the S&P 500, reaching a historic high. This number has grown more than threefold since 2022, and the semiconductor index SOX has risen by approximately 546% during the same period. At present, the weight of semiconductors in the S&P 500 is more than half of the peak level during the Internet foam period in 2000.
