Zama announced a partnership today with @Morpho and @SteakhouseFi to launch the first crypto yield vault based on cUSDC. Using the ERC-7984 crypto token standard, USDC can be converted into cUSDC, enabling encrypted balances and transfer amounts on the Ethereum mainnet while keeping sender and receiver information public to meet compliance requirements. Users can deposit cUSDC into Morpho's Steakhouse yield strategy to earn returns while maintaining complete privacy of their balances and positions. The Shielding event is currently live (June 17–22). Users can participate by converting USDC into cUSDC. After the event ends on June 22, Zama will use FHE random number functionality to select 25 winners, each receiving 1,000 cUSDC, with a total prize pool of $25,000.
