[Zhipu GLM-5.2 Crowns First Open Source AA Intelligence Index: GDPval Runs on par with GPT-5.5] According to Beating monitoring, Zhipu AI's latest MoE flagship model GLM-5.2 scored 51 points in the Artificial Analysis Big Model Intelligence Index v4.1 evaluation, surpassing MiniMax-M3 (44 points), DeepSeek V4 Pro (max, 44 points), and Kimi K2.6 (43 points), and topping the global open source model rankings. In the GDPval-AA v2 test simulating real-world knowledge work, GLM-5.2 scored 1524 points (human benchmark score of 1000 points), ahead of MiniMax-M3 (1418 points) and DeepSeek V4 Pro (max, 1328 points), and on par with the closed source frontier model GPT-5.5 (xhigh reasoning). Compared to the previous generation GLM-5.1, the scientific reasoning CritPt has increased by 16 percentage points to 21%, HLE has increased by 12 percentage points to 40%, TerminalBench v2.1 has increased by 16 percentage points to 78%, and GPQA Diamond has reached 89%. GLM-5.2 occupies the best cost-effective position at the Pareto front of "intelligence task cost". Due to the average output of 43k tokens per task (compared to 26k for GLM-5.1), the average cost per task for GLM-5.2 has increased to approximately 0.46 US dollars, higher than GLM-5.1 (0.25 US dollars) and DeepSeek V4 Pro (max, 0.05 US dollars), but still much lower than closed source models in the same intelligent tier. GLM-5.2 has a total parameter of 744B, an activation parameter of 40B, and the context window has been increased from the previous generation 200K to 1M, following the MIT protocol open source. At present, the official API of Zhipu (priced at 1.4 inputs and 4.4 outputs per million tokens) has been launched for service on platforms such as SiliconFlow, DeepInfra, and Nebius AI.
